After a 5:30am finish at work I decided to go out and watch the sunrise. Glad I did.
I had another early morning finish at work this morning so I took the opportunity to head up to Picnic Point here in Toowoomba to catch another sunrise. Arrived just in time to catch the first light of the dawn. First light is pretty magical to see. Sometimes I wish I could get up this early to catch it more than I do but my work schedule makes it difficult.
I finished work at 4:15am christmas morning and rushed up to Picnic Point to catch the sunrise. I didn’t have time to go home and grab my tripod so I had to use the railing. Apart from the composition which I couldn’t really control without a tripod I’m quite happy with it.
I haevn’t been out with my camera much the past week. Uni assignments and exam study have kept me busy. Did manage to catch a few sunrise and sunset shots though.
I had just finished work at a quarter to 6 in the morning. On my drive home I saw this awesome golden light coming up over the edge of the Toowoomba Range. I ran inside to grab my camera and drove around the corner to a good vantage point.
Finished work just before sunrise so I decided to scoot up to Picnic Point again to get another sunrise shot. In my sleep deprived state I forgot to bring my jumper with me from work and it was a lovely 9 degrees (celsius). I think it was worth standing around freezing myself.
