I saw this old car rusting away while I was driving around town. It was screaming out for a photo.
Taken at the 2008 Amberly AFB Airshow in Queensland Australia, this is a view of some of the major aircraft the Royal Australian Air Force has had at it’s disposal over it’s history.
Left to right: P-51 Mustang, de Havilland Vampire, Gloster Meteor, BAE Hawk, McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet.
If I made an error with the names feel free to tell me.
Looking through my old photos I found this clip of an F-111 performing a dump and burn at the 2008 Amberly AFB Airshow. This is sadly something we won’t be able to see any more because the F-111 has finally been retired from active service in Australia.
On the 10th of February 2011 Toowoomba experienced an event that a lot of people would consider impossible in a city on the top of a mountain. The City’s two creeks were inundated with so much water that it sent flash flooding through the city and out to surrounding towns. Here are some images I was able to capture of the event. These aren’t all the images, to see the rest click here to view the full flickr gallery.
